About Echo Park PDA Art Walk
The Echo Park PDA (public displays of art) Art Walk is a one day event that turns the neighborhood into a fun, playful and engaging artistic landscape.
Saturday May 19, 2012 12-6pm
Explore and discover chain link fence galleries, driveway theaters, sidewalk chalk art, performance art, live music, film screenings, food trucks, sidewalk dancing, hands on workshops, sculptures, special store promotions, and other various creative & mind stimulating public displays of ART.
The event was founded by designer Heather Mendoza of Art Needs Freedom as a way of bringing together the artists, residents and businesses that make up the community on Echo Park Ave. + Sunset Blvd. and should inspire to build community, connect, celebrate, and share space. The Art Walk is mostly an independent organized event and mainly dedicated to contemporary art.
