o0oo [ō ˈzēˌrō ō ō] is a highly advanced content management system for websites, portfolios, and online collaboration which integrates with existing web services and offline content in very innovative ways to support existing artistic workflows. Its roots go back to 2000 when it originally had been developed as an intranet platform and artistic working method for film productions.
In November 2011, with the relaunch of gerger.com, the current version of o0oo increased to version 6. Each release indicates a new direction and quite a large step in development. In this case it's about performance and the cloud. The new system lives in the cloud and syncs and talks to services like Amazon Web Services, Dropbox, Flickr, Lightroom, digital offline assets and more.
o0oo is built on the newest and future proven web technologies and incorporates tons of interactive inline, wysiwyg and ajax editing features as well. However, its ability to support artistic workflows in many ways and even synchronize different types of content is surely one of its more unique strengths.
